Level | Firebase

Firebase was designed to cater to 16 player matches, although a fictional scenario the layout of the base is from an old special forces camp located somewhere in I Corps and the narrative is taken from Kham Duc where U.S. infantry were flown in to protect a CIDG camp. This level was designed for Skrimish and Territory gamemodes and has different layouts depending on which mode is chosen.

My responsibilities on the project included:

- Research, creating design documents and briefs
- Blocking out the level to get early gameplay impressions
- Iterating based on play test feedback
- Dressing most of the level, including; creating art requests, establishing composition, ensuring consistent narrative, lighting, art direction.
- Optimisation of the entire level

Majority of Environment Art was handcrafted by Thorsten Hartrampf, Jan-Philipp Küppers, Glynn Richards, Tom Wydeven.
